Phad Paintings
This style of painting is traditionally done using natural stones colour on a long piece of cloth or hand made canvas or paper, known as phad. The narratives of the folk deities of Rajasthan are depicted on the phads.
Pichwai Paintings
Pichhwai or Miniature paintings are devotional pictures painted on cloth or paper which portray Lord Krishna and other Gods. The purpose of Pichhwais, other than artistic appeal, usually is to narrate tales of Krishna to the illiterate.
Wall Paintings
Wall paintings of ancient Indian culture is represented in the prime areas in the cities of Rajasthan. These paintings reveal the history of Rajasthan, the Kings and nobles were lovers of arts and crafts and encouraged craftsmanship.
